Because the CPs doesn't look at the great currently.
1) The CP has some shorter skirts,
2) The first ring land is high in piston
3) It looks it has less mass which means it has a lower thermo mass equivalent. IE probably stay hotter longer. But probably lighter.CP are supposelu to be some of best pistons in the market place better than anyone right now as far as technology. And the ones we used for a 350Z looked excellent I am just not sure how they good of a designed they used on VG30DETT. But I am don't know anywhere as much as those guys at CP or Weisco when it comes to designing the perfect piston. I could just be missing something. But currently it looks I would use the Weisco over the CP.
